I am a practicing attorney for the past 40 years. I have also served on the Orange Board of Education for the past 11½ years. I am also a proud graduate of Orange Schools, class of 1977. All three of my children attended Orange Schools from kindergarten through 12th grade, and each went on to graduate and continue their education at The Ohio State University. My daughter, an Orange graduate of 2024, is currently a sophomore at OSU. During their time at Orange, my sons were actively involved in football, basketball, and baseball throughout middle and high school, while my daughter played volleyball. These experiences gave them valuable lessons in teamwork, dedication, and school spirit.

I have always enjoyed being part of the Orange sports community as a proud parent. Attending games and supporting our student-athletes has been a highlight for me, and it has given me a deep appreciation for the dedication, teamwork, and school spirit that make our district so special.

I reside in Pepper Pike with my wife, Tracey, where we have owned our home for 27 years. We have been happily married for 27 years.

​

I have been active in many community groups affiliated with the Schools. I am a member of the Kiwanis of Lander Circle and a life member of the Orange Alumni Association. During my years on the Board, I have been a member and supporter of the Orange Boosters, The Orange Patronaires, both Orange PTAs, and the Orange Schools Foundation. Through my association with these groups, I have learned their importance to the students and staff in our district and how these groups can work together for the benefit of all students and staff.

My background in the district and work with these support groups has also allowed me to develop strong relationships with community members, parents, and stakeholders. These relationships help me in my role as a board member to identify the issues facing the district and to find effective pathways to solutions.
